In explaining why the CHS offer to MHHS was never fully considered, the Board Chairman said in a letter to local physicians that the community needs a healthcare system that will "put the needs of patients over profits..." CHS has been forthcoming about the terms of its offer. Unfortunately, the MHHS Board has not disclosed any of the terms of the offer it is considering from Covenant Health in Knoxville.  Read why many are concerned about the lack of transparency in this decision.
